Husarion Cloud

Husarion Cloud is the webpage which allows you to control and program your robots remotely. To be more precise, this is not only a webpage but a lot of staff working on several servers.

The Platform is a main interface between you and your robot. You can use RoboCORE without the Platform (see offline development page for more info) but this is the more geeky way :)

Ok, let's say that you will be using Husarion Cloud and you need to register your account.

Registering a new account

  1. Visit https://cloud.husarion.com and click Register. You can skip register proces if you have Google account by click Log in with Google.
  2. Complete all fields and click Register.
  3. Check your email and click the link to activate your account.
  4. Now you can login to your account.

Adding a new robot to your account

It strongly depends of your hardware configuration. Please visit the How to start guide, but you have to check if roboCORE is still connect via USB with your Android device.

In general, when you add a new robot to your account, you need to make a unique connection between your RoboCORE and Husarion Cloud. RoboCORE mobile application for smartphone/tablet can generate the registration code. This code is sent to the Platform together with unique ID. If the registration code matches with the corresponding ID in Platform database, the robot can be added to your account.

  1. After loging in click Add new device
  2. Enter device name then click I have registration code
  3. Now click Add robot
  4. Your device will show on Husarion Cloud immediately
  5. You can always disconnect a RoboCORE from your account and connect it again (or connect to another account) by clicking on “+” next to your robot and choosing Unlink.

Using WebIDE

  1. Go to https://cloud.husarion.com and log in.
  2. Click “+” sign next to your robot and choose IDE.
  3. Now you can use your existing project or create a new one based on one of templates. If you don't have any project click on Create.
  4. Now you have to choose board, template and name. For us it will be:
  5. After clicking on Create project you will see IDE.
  6. In IDE, every time you want to deploy project on RoboCORE, click Build and then (if build was successful), Upload button. After successed programming you will see on console:

Remote controlling your robot

Remote controlling is available via hCloudClient API. For the first time, you can use the template from the online platform.

  1. Make sure your smartphone is connected to the RoboCORE and on smartphone display there is a text: “Connected”.
  2. Go to https://cloud.husarion.com/ and log in.
  3. Click on robot which you want to use.
  4. Now you can control your robot by button or keyboard keys. If you enabled video transmission, you should see video from your smartphone camera on the screen.
